That's not the way to ask for a favor. Here I am going out of my way to be generous and kind, taking time out of my busy day to fix your sloppy mistake.
I should make you beg for it.
(Why does it seem like he's not talking about the bag? Hmm!)
[Questions were better than teasing. Natsume would take questioning any day, because that meant they were possibly moving towards him getting out of here.
"Here" of course being:] The supply shed, out by the field. All the teams are still practicing.
[Considering that a good 75% of the sports jocks at school had already presented alpha and refused to shut up about it, the answer to Dirk's unasked question is "yes, and I'm surrounded." If Natsume makes a break for it in his current state, he's not gonna make it two feet without fifty lacrosse and baseball and whatever else players catching a whiff.]
(He can feel himself slipping into an entirely different mindset. It would have been fun to tease Natsume to death about this, but with the risk of a bunch of alphas possibly catching whiff? No fucking way. They might not be mates, not officially, but Dirk saw Natsume like that and had since before either of them presented.
Humor lost, he's rushing along.)
I'll be there in a few minutes. Just hang tight, baby.
[That is an extremely un-Natsume-like reaction, which only serves to drive home how...not-himself he is right now. He's actually starting to wonder if being jumped by the entire basketball team would be that bad. It might actually be fun. Maybe...]
(This...........really was weird. It also makes him realize how much he actually liked Natsume's brattiness and stubborn side. He actually stops walking for a second just to stare at the text, double-checking to see if he somehow misread it, but nope. That's it. That's what he said.
He goes faster.)
You're going to hate yourself so much for this later. I'll promise not to be too merciless.
[Oh, there it is. Sort of. Natsume is curled up in a corner of the supply shed, trying to breathe through the intense waves of need that keep wracking his body, and his thoughts keep going from clear and lucid to desperate and hazy. Case in point, the very next text:]
[This should make Natsume angry. This should make him enraged. Instead it just makes his head spin with yes, yes, yes, perfect, yes you are, yes please, which in turn drives him absolutely crazy and prompts him to thunk his forehead against the nearby bin of basketballs.]
you know it's not easy for me to argue with you right now.
(Dirk doesn't respond but mostly because he has shown up. The telltale scent of the ocean mixed with something that was just naturally Dirk, naturally alpha began to fill the air. He's standing just outside of the door with Natsume's bag on his shoulder, and despite his usual calm, indifferent attitude, Dirk felt unusually tense.
Any alpha who thought to approach right now would have a death sentence coming their way.)
[Across the field, a couple of the lacrosse alphas are nudging each other and glancing over, but fortunately Dirk's reputation precedes him and they don't dare approach.
And it's a good thing too, because Natsume opens the door and the citrus-sweet scent of an omega in the depths of heat flows out around him. He's shivering all over, barely able to stand on wobbly, weak knees, face flushed deep red.
For a moment he just stares. Then, in a small, relieved voice:] You really came.
(Thank God they stay away or else it would be a complete bloodbath. Dirk was still relatively restrained, but it wouldn't take much for that to vanish for Natsume's sake.
The scent nearly knocks Dirk out. He holds his breath to maintain his own sanity for a second. Natsume smelled so good. He had never actually smelled him in heat like this and it was better than every fantasy he's ever had about him.)
Of course. I would never abandon you. I've been telling you that for years. (He carefully moves towards Natsume's, slipping his leather jacket over Natsume. Half to try and contain the omega's scent, half to put some of his own scents on Natsume. For Natsume's comfort and his own.)
I don't know if we'll be able to get you outta here in time.
[It's physically painful to stand, what with the shuddering waves of arousal and need constantly overwhelming him, so the second Dirk's heavy, warm jacket settles around his shoulders, Natsume lets himself sway forward, braced against the other boy’s broad, warm chest. He smells so good like sun and water and fresh air and summer.
Groaning a little, Natsume buries his face in Dirk's neck and breathes in, whole body tingling with bliss and fulfillment and delight. His words are slurred, teasing, giddy:] Don't wanna leave. Want you right now.
[He actually giggles, nuzzling his nose against the side of Dirk's neck, tongue flicking out to drag over his skin.] Don't care if anyone sees.
(This...was way harder than he thought it would be. He liked to think he was fully in control of himself, but God, it's harder in person. He rests his hand against the back of Natsume's neck, somewhat firmly.)
If you were in your right mind, you would kill me if I took you in this shack.
(Holy shit. That tongue. His skin burns up and he takes a deep breath, burrowing his own face against Natsume's neck. He knew they would never make it back safely. Natsume wasn't actually his. Suddenly all Dirk could think about were other alphas who would square off against him.)

(Dirk's going to be very mean right now apparently. He definitely notices the compliant attitude. Oh, he was so on the money with this one.)
1/?
Natsume is panicked enough that he can't type anything for a solid 5 minutes, so instead Dirk's gonna get:]
2/?
3/5
4/5
5/5
no thank you I need it today right now please

But instead there's a few moments of hesitation, then:]
Please? I promise I'll make it up to you.

This really was what he thought it was. Something tugged at Dirk's gut and he suddenly felt a little antsy.)
Where are you exactly? Are you alone?
(More importantly were there any other alphas in the area?)

I'm really sorry.

(Money had never been an object for Dirk. It would be better spent on taking care of Natsume than stocking up on more sex toys.)
It's okay. I'm almost there.
